I like both, but with kids the animals take priority ;-)

What do you reckon would provide the best options in terms of routes and sightings? Croc bridge or Skukuza?

Skukuza has roads going in all 4 directions, even to Sable territory, for example! ;-)

CB has one west road, and the rest north... lol

Visibility will be much better around CB in April, though, depending on drought... :-?

I agree with RP. Even though I prefer Croc Bridge, Skuks has a much bigger choice of roads. \O

Yes, this is an issue for me too. My kids would prefer to see animals (as would I) and are prob a bit too young (8 & 11) to appreciate the solitude of the north.

I would also vote for the Skukuza option.
There are number of directions one can go in. And if one finds it getting a bit busy, a few sand roads too which tend to be quieter.

I would really appreciate advice from those of you that are very familiar with Kruger as I have very limited knowledge of the park due to being an ex Eastern Caper. I plan to spend 5 to 6 days there soon and was thinking of entering at its North end and then exiting at its South end, spending each night in a different camp. Is this idea doable in 5 to 6 days and if so, which camps would you suggest that I stay in and which roads should I travel on ? -O-

Depending on accomodation. I would do Shingwedzi, Letaba/ Balule and Lower Sabie. I would do budget huts which would give me an extra day or two at each camp with the same budget. 2-3 days at each of those camps you could cover most places.
Shingwedzi in EH3 units you could do up to Pafuri, Mphongolo loop, Klopperfontein and Red Rocks.

Letaba EA3U (best value in park) / Balule huts you can get to Mopani, Olifants, s100, Timbavati and around Satara

Lower Sabie EH units allows you the whole South and up to Tshokwane etc.
