I will hang on with the posting of the square sun until Leachy has psoted the mystery bird.

You are some great story spinner, iBoss!
Now, let's see what mysterious bird leachy comes up with.

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Morons!!!
If one looks at the sun as it just dips onto the horizon and is orange, using binocs, one can see the edges becoming "pixelated", so to speak! A remarkable atmospheric phenomenon!
(Best do it when it is already almost underground...
)
The mistake these guys made, BTW, was to have TWO G&T's...biiig mistake, hence the silliness!
Sprocky lost his R50 on the Redbilled's, and cheated regarding the bird-id thing, as his phone app was on the whole time!
I did id a baby hippo next to the mother, which turned out to be the mother's ears! (In fact it was a bull...
)
Sprocky feels the hole was made by a pangolin...

Re: AW Photo Competition Safari Winner Trip
I am sure the Master will forgive me if I post a few more pics before he gets here with the mystery bird pics.
RP was back up on the van, this was before the square sun incident. He had somehow managed to get hold of the Masters camera, and was trying his luck at a sunset shot or two. If I am not mistaken, was this not when the burning bush pic was taken?

Time for another G&T, which RP said that he never had, but here he is pouring another round.

Well maybe he didn't drink it, as he dashed off to get the binocs on the other side of the van, leaving the Master to finish pouring his own G&T.

It was now that we realised what he was up to. We tried in vain to stop him cooking his eyeballs as he gazed directly at the magnified sun through the binocs.

In trying to wrestle the binocs out of RP's hands (they were fused to his eyeballs) Sprocky bumped them and RP sports perfectly round bruises on his eye sockets. The ground quacked alarmingly when Sprocky hauled RP out of the top tier of the vehicle, steam errupting from his eyeballs as he hit the ground flat on his back with Sprocky lying on his chest whilst I tried in vain to build up some pressure to put out the fire. Not a pretty site nor a pleasant experience. Note to self, stay away from RP at sunset.

Hey Sprocs, note how RP favors his wounded digit whilst pouring his Gin.
