A young cheetah all alone?
The Magpie shrike is lovely
Lions can be nearly as revolting as Boons
Wait until you see the evidence!
There were three Cheetahs but I only managed to get two of them this time. They were in the area for the whole five days we were at Croc but we only saw them once more.

You do really have a lot of luck when it comes to Kruger BT
THe satara feline is beautiful and then the dwarf bitter, spurwing goose, night heron, squacco heron are absolutely amazing sights
Then you get the lions on a buff kill
Leopard next to the road
Lioness on a hippo kill
Cheetahs
Speechless...

Lovely shots and luck, BT!
Looks like "Mr Greedy" got a smack from his prey?
What on earth is going on at Mhlanganzwane? Looks like some community project?

Oh wow what a great Cat day.
See where the lions get the taste for Hippo from around LS.
And the LL even sleep on their dinner
Great photos

Hey Heksie!
Not so much luck for the first 2/3 of the trip but it did improve when we got to Croc. Not that I'm bothered much, I'll always find something interesting, even if it's bugs.

It was a great morning but strangely, I don't remember thinking so at the time!
More likely that Mr Greedy got a smack from one of the lionesses - I suspect the Gnu was dead before he appropriated it.
Whatever is happening at Mhlanganzwane, it's likely to take a loooooonnnnng time, dismantling a dam of that size with shovels and wheelbarrows is no small task.
