Of coarse these things depend on the indiviual and the sightings :-)
I don't drive around too much drinking lots of beer at the hides
and we stay at Bakubung for 7 nights every year. And although I get tired of some of the roads, I am always disappointed to leave after 7 nights!

I am enjoying your thread CHeetah.. super \O

I have done a 3 day stretch and found it just too short. Thinking of 4 days around October... :-)

On the other side of Mankwe Dam, on the Hippo Loop, we found a tree where Bee-eaters nest. ;-)

Super Flehman.. welcome - let's see your pics. I just love Pilansberg, oh, and by the way, we are having a members meet there at the end of September. Make a plan and come and meet us.. ^Q^ ^Q^

This is Lengau Dam - as you enter the park through Bakubung Gate. Saw some sacred Ibis and Wooly necked storks and others there.
The backdrop of the mountains is beautiful.
