Those heights would make me dizzy at times - very steep in places
Reminds me of places in the Mountain Zebra where I have to close my eyes in order to survive.
Luckily, the SO does the driving

I did not know that there are elephants in Marakele

Someone with a less prominent Afrikaans accent would have been better
Too barren for my taste

and of the English speaking people that I have met, nobody speaks like that. Some Afrikaans speaking, yes
