Final "score" from the DEA came through today.

668

South Africa can better be re- named into Killing Fields after last years total.

In the first 11 days of December alone a total of 30 Rhino has been killed in Kruger.

Sickening.

And lo and behold.

Arrest figures are going down while poaching figures are rising at speed.

Only 39 arrests made in Kruger? 0*\

Is tat telling us something?

Did you 2 had too many of Charlies juice?

Exactly as I said it just to give an example as to how many ellies can be poached within a few days.

Mabunda may speak nice words and what not, but the fact remains that what he is doing is not working diddly squat.

I wish I could say, I wish this wasn't true!! O/
On the 1 Jan an anti-poaching group with soldiers on the back of the vehicle came driving passed us with flashing lights towards Orpen gate about 15 km from Orpen camp. Maybe I can not make assumptions but it does not seems as if they were looking for the poachers in Mozambique. :-? O** O**

Kruger lost 30 in 11 days in December!!!!! That is truly shocking considering December is a very busy tourist time in the park! 0*\ 0*\ 0*\
