20 August - Day 5:
Today we decided to chill in camp and sleep late
I took some pics of the birdies in camp
Black- backed Puffback
Arrow-arked Babbler
Kurrichane Thrush
Our breakfast:
We saw this when we camped with my FIL and MIL at Klein Kariba and just had to try it again
You take a 1/4 potjie and put onions at the bottom then some left over meat(we used wors), mushrooms, grated cheese,tomato and onion relish and last you make a hole at the top and add a egg or 2. When that's done you put your potjie on the braai and put some coles under it and 2 or 3 on the lid....10 to 15 minutes later you can eat

....just be careful that pot stays hot for a long time

. Eat your Breakfast out of the potjie
After breakfast some more birdies
Blue Waxbill
Brown headed parrot
Toko
We chilled for the morning and then went for a drive later that afternoon.....

Never seen one myself so far. And they look quite handsome...

21 August - Day 6..
Starting with a beautiful sunrise
At last I got a beautiful photo of a Brown Headed Parrot

Scops owl at Satara
Warthog
Steenbokkie
Grey Heron
Impala with passengers
Fish Eagle far away

No it was about 10 km from Orpen and there was 3 of them
We saw some parrots in Satara to, but they would not sit still for photos

22 August - day 7:
This was a very quiet day... only a few pics
First up..Giraffe
Burchells coucal
Maraboe
Near Satara we saw these Lions and Bookworm said very calmly, oh there are Lions
Lots of Tokos
Dead tree with big nests
Olifants river
Ostriches
This Baboon only had 3 legs but he was going on as if there was nothing wrong with him
Next day 8 the last day.......
