the evening drive to Lijersdraai was rather quiet
a toko with a large dinner
and something we saw rather often this trip – a couple of koris
back in camp, we enjoyed a nice sunset

we woke up to one of the most beautiful sounds – a roaring lion. His brother answered from further away
another sunrise
jackals at the waterhole
exactly where the one on the left is standing, we saw the only AWC of this trip that evening but gone too fast for a picture

we went to Lijersdraai on the morning drive and it was very quiet again

queuing
a potter (?) wasp at the sink

For the evening drive it was Union’s End again. There was a roadblock at the waterhole
on the way back we saw glossy and Burchell’s starlings

and all of a sudden close to Geinab, Rosa was standing in the middle of the riverbed. Unfortunately she walked away when we stopped
went behind a tree
and then relaxed on top of it
Happy we returned to camp where we were visited by our neighbours who wanted to see the leopard pictures. It turned out that the lady was Penolva ( from SANPforums).

as we were hoping to see Rosa again, the morning drive took us to Union’s End. But we had no luck. We saw a juvenile bateleur
and this in the middle of the road. Any ideas who caused this?
and finally this little one crossing the road
