Sunday morning, a few metres from Croc, another traffic jam! This time it was Hyaenas that had made a kill.

We headed up the S25 and made our way through to Afsaal for breakfast.

Great light, so it was time to take some Impie portraits.

Somewhere along the way, an unmentionable and her calf.

At Afsaal, a spider that I haven't identified yet.

Afsaal turned out to be a disappointment. The price of breakfast with coffee has almost doubled since May from R42 to a staggering R75! I won't be going there again!

You must be the Impala wispererererer because they never stand still long enough for me to take portrait pic, especially the rams :-) :-0

Always great to see those Rhinos so carefree O:V

We had a great view of the Rhinos, there was a small bridge over the stream they were drinking from and they were right next to the road - lovely!

Not good value for money, look where overcharging got the previous restaurant operators!

Hi Harry, I think I caught them by surprise, sometimes it's possible to creep up on Impies and take the shot before they turn and walk away!

Had a good giggle at the giraffe faces. lol lol lol
Easy way to tell STF; Lesser Masked Weaver has yellow eyes, Masked Weaver has orange eyes.

Thanks B.T. \O O\/

Ok, you have finally managed to combine a spider with a whip-scorpion...the most revolting of all creatures great and small! 0:

Interesting that hyena kill, maybe a duiker? Many people think they don't hunt and just scavenge, but the jury is out regarding whether they or lion are the apex predators in Kruger... ;-)

What exactly do you get to eat for R75, you miser?

A local nice burger and chips costs over R50 here, and that's obviously without transport costs etc... lol O**
