Yip this Ellie is famous in Gone re Zou ..south section...Part of Greater Kruger Park100ponder wrote:The below photo appears in News Letter 41 of Take Aim Safaries. It is stated that the tusker was spotted by one of the PH's in their hunting concession bordering the Gonarezhou Nature Reserve in Zimbabwe, but that he was not hunted. The PH stated that he was convinced the tusks were in the 100+ pound class, especially the RH tusk which reaches down to the ground.

Re: Africa's Giant Tuskers
I have access to the Tsavo Trust monthly reports. These are freely available to the public and I plan to post them in the future - reason is that these reports contain photos of what they call SUPER TUSKERS as well as photos of their EMERGING TUSKERS and I am quite sure many of the AW members will be interested.
Note :- Tsavo National Park lay in the SE of Kenya with the Mombasa - Nairobi hi-way intersecting it. To the West the Tsavo West part borders onto Tanzania and the Eastern boundry is quite close to the Lamu and Malindi coast North of Mombasa.
