My only point is this and has been it from the beginning: If they can put the mixer in the kitchen.............. It is a discrepancy. The Bed & Breakfasts that I have stayed in all have had a mixer tap! I am not criticising SA. It has nothing to do with your habits or whatever you are insinuating. It has to do with a choice that Sanparks has done in the new bungalows in Twee Rivieren! In Mata Mata they had a mixer tap in the bathroom.

You obviously have not read what I wrote about Ireland; they DO NOT have mixer taps. It's the same thing and they do not miss it until you tell them what a mixer tap is.

We must understand that simplistic way of life can withhold
great fortune. Al depends on how the beholder manipulates
a greater visitor experience. I believe KNP should keep it simple
even rather more backward, for that is where their fortune lies.
Raw simplicity, often a big money spinner!!!
Sanparks must refrain from competing in the cut throat industry
of common tourism!! They are not up to it, why, because at the
same time of practicing politics we are also trying to manage a
bottomless pit of financial resource in the commercial world!!
Yet the commonness and resource of self sustained tourism going lost
in the smokescreen, all for the sake of merely proving financial gain,
too suite those peers.
Let's not forget the mere reason why KNP became so famous!!!
KnP is a raw deal and worth a fortune, therefore Sanparks, stop in
trying to compete with the tourism industry. Sanparks you are becoming
your own worst enemy!!!

OK Lisbeth , I will leave it up to you to tell 50 million people in this country that you have told the people in Ireland about mixer taps , and that they should now also change to mixer taps , just like the Irish
I must tell you about this friend of mine who got divorced after being married for 25 years .
When I asked his wife the reasons , she said " Well , I got tired of the way that he is . Everything he does is just perfect . His shirts must be folded in a specific way . He always gets up at exactly the same time every day , he always eats exactly the same breakfast . Our garden is extremely neat , and he cuts the grass each and every week , at the same time as both our neighbours . There is never one blade of grass out of place . He is just too perfect in everything , and he will never never change . He is just too Swiss " .

I see no reason to offend me, Okie! I like that things are in order, but that does not mean that my wife is going to divorce me

Lisbeth wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 3:39 pm Not only are there no mixer tap, but the two taps are so close to the back of the wash basin that there is not space for your hands.
That is so true
How many times did I tell me the same thing !!
I read all the posts after Lisbeth's one, but one has to admit that mixer taps exist in SA and are not a luxury that has to be reserved to rich northern countries. And I don't understand the argument "It has always been this way" to explain that we should not change, especially where mixer taps are objectively more practical than normal taps. Even if tourists appreciate some old fashioned way of life, I don't think it applies to basic needs such as washing their hands or teeth.
