Let's try find out whether the "PDZ", if for reasoning,
would require a "EIA".???

THEY have to initiate an EIA, perhaps, for the gate, which I doubt as it will be small. The lodge developer needn't request a major EIA, I don't think, as it will be outside the Park and not next to a watercourse etc.!
Very clever.
(SP are utterly sick and tired of EIA's

)
It's a longer term project, I think...promises made before Mangaung where Zuma was not a favourite in Limpopo province...

Rp, I'am afraid that you leave me with little room
for creative thought!

I beg to differ here but maybe wrong, what you are saying
is the one with the crazy idea, is the one footing the bill,
and therefore can call the shots????

Same as the hotels...the developer is responsible for EIA regarding the lodge, SP needn't regarding the gate, maybe. A corrolary is the little picnic site near Berg&Dal that passed without any EIA?

The alarming thing is the continual reference to the partnership between the communities and the government, but when it comes to things that effect our national parks, they seem to forget the third member that has to be a part of this partnership.....you & me, the people who's heritage they are planning to screw up.

I'm afraid but it seems that Kruger needs to be
cut and pasted elsewhere, at least for the time
being!! A place where less hostile management
occurs while global issues get sorted!!
Southern Africa does not deserve this heritage,
at least they don't speak their desire for such,..
so, cut and paste it elsewhere for safekeeping
till such time of real need returns!!!

So IDC is funding the feasability study...and a lot of big departments involved!
Interesting the date of this report, Sept. 2012...thanks Toko!
No mention of an EIA, but disturbing mention of mining activities being promoted in the area!?
Sounds beautiful....but see the URL...tenders...
The infrastructure development involved re. roads and other stuff mentioned is going to be incredibly expensive! (Tenders)

And they know it Indy, they are busy grovelling in your heart!!
Just the mere fact that you will not back-off is good enough
reasoning, telling them that there are ....................
"big bucks in this Bonanza"
Why ever should "they" just want to leave it there,........
"idle in it's making"
