no, 2 sorts of Starling are not rare in the Kgalagadi : Cape Glossy and Burchell's Starling, and some time Wattled Starling

pronking was the word I searched 0*\

right with the rain (lot of at end of the year) the waterholes are a bit dirty ;-)
and will be more dirty :evil:
