And looks quite wild and woolly those forest roads...adventurous!

Great sable! O/\ O\/ ^Q^
We never saw another vehicle on those roads and in places the sand was quite thick.
The trees were really beautiful.

Yes lucky indeed - especially as that was all we saw on that road other than the impala :-)

On the other hand, you probably have to crawl along anyway due to the thick vegetation all over
the place, so chances are good that one doesn't run over any critters.

Sable - what a treat O:V O:V O:V

The forest was quite thick in places and difficult to spot game, but just lovely being there ^Q^

Every evening was spent at the bar watching the ellies coming and going. They were a bit later today so we enjoyed
finding more birds.

First up a pic of the hide and underground tunnel with the morning sun shining in. In the afternoon the first part of the
tunnel was pitch black and the ladder had to be negotiated very carefully 0*\

A flock of Hartlaub's babblers also came to the campsite. They aren't quite as noisy as their cousins the arrowmarked babbler =O:

That Sable is truly magnificent! My favourite antelope. Seeing them on the Chobe Riverfront was the highlight of my visit to the area. ^Q^

I think I'd find that tunnel a bit claustrophobic! O-/

Lovely flowers on the kiaat tree. \O
