Ok, just making a list so long - not necessarily my favourites!

This is another of my favourites, an unnamed pan about 1km down the S130 from the Lower Sabie end:





A- Shade (2/5)
B- Closeness to the water (5/5)
C- Rare mammal species (3/5) (Cheetah, Black & White Rhino)
D- Proximity to a camp/gate (ease of access) (4/5) (H4-2, Lower Sabie, Crocodile Bridge)
E- Remoteness (off the main roads) (4/5)

= 18/25



I have seen cheetah and the herbivorous big 5 here, and the dense Delagoa Thorn bush around it makes for very sudden appearances by animals! It is quiet tourist-wise, especially for a waterhole in the south. As with Klopperfontein, one suffers a bit from FOMO, as there is sometimes another pan or two a bit further down the road...

Lots of mudbathing activity!

We don't do that road too often.
