You're right, Flutts. It was smallish. But I had put that down to the fact that it was still a young one. :-?

Interesting pic of the owl. Looks fluffy. It is sitting in one of that alien mesquite trees.

Apart from a Glimpse of Puneng at Rooiputs 2 years ago I havent seen a leopard in Kalahari for decades ..About the same in Kruger as well ..Nov I will hone in on Mrs Spots at Shingwedzi

We had leopard droughts as well, but I must admit that the last trip and also this one was rather successful in that regard.
I have to pay wit my cheetah sightings though. At least compared to others who get to see two digit numbers cheetahs :O^
