UPDATE INJURED WILD DOG
Vets there now. Confirmation received that it's a result of fight between males in pack. It's mating season, going to happen. Several puncture wounds, snare thus ruled out. They looked carefully, he will be okay real soon.

In accordance with the rules, the dog should have been left alone I for one is happy that they saved him

Although, it doesn't say they did anything to him. Maybe when they saw it wasn't a snare, they just left him.

You are right, they say nothing about curing him (sorry did not read properly, I had understood that they had sewed the wound )
