Re: Walking with Grizzlies

On retracing our footsteps back to the skiff, we were about to motor back to the ship for a coffee break and cakes when we noticed some strange goings on nearby.

Image

Further investigation revealed that a good looking blonde was parading around on the shoreline.

Image

She settled down for a good scratching session.

Image

Before ambling along the shoreline for a while.

Image

Image

She headed over to check us out briefly.

Image

Before settling down in the grass.

Image

Another good scratching session ensued.

Image

Reaching all those hard to get at places.

Image

Culminating in a good old head-shaking session.

Image

Image

After another little jaunt along the beach, she settled down to eat some sedges.

Image

But was still interested in our little group and sneaked glances our way every now and again.

Image

Eventually, she rose and continued on her way further up the shoreline.

Image

"What a stunning looking bear." We all agreed.

"Wait until you see her twin sister." Said Brad.

"I was hoping she would be here as she has two little Coty's (Cubs of the year). She is the best looking bear I've ever seen." He added as we returned to the ship for lunch.

"It would be great if we could see some cubs." I said to Megs.

"I'd love to see some." She replied excitedly..........

Had a good laugh about the photo RP quoted! Excellent -O

Sounds as if even Brad - who must have seen a lot in his life - is pretty impressed by her beauty. O**

Great photos - loved the first one with claws in the air. Twin huh, with babies. I just know you're setting us up ready for that. FABULOUS.
