Only good for middle European climate, methinks. X#X

Hilarious shot of the Lion sleeping like a log/dog =O:

Great to see Masego and Hanri again. O/\
It was the same chair with the Puffie... but in the night O-/
I like Amarula, a bit like caramel... but don't like sugar =O:
for the first time I had "Capuccino" offered by my friends from Upington and it cheer up when I was depressed, a little bit sugar in a world of brute ;-)

European climat... which climat 0- --00--

Where to start? -O-

What an incredible tale of an experience in the wild - good, \O bad, ugly @#$ . Thank goodness, we humans tend to remember the GOOD of our vacations over the less desirable moments. As is often stated, "It's all part of the adventure." As is also said, " Adventure starts where your comfort zone ends." You handled it all with aplomb.

LOVED the "farting cable" =O: =O: =O: SO and I now incorporate that into our bantering. :-0 :-0
Ahh...a brownie at KK - iconic
CONGRATS on the Barking Gecko - even out of its burrow!!! I've stopped taking pics of them 'cause they never "do anything"- just stare. Excellent. :-0
How do I love your birds? Let me count the ways - Marabou Stork, Long-tailed P. Whydah, Hawk Eagle, Striped Kingfisher..... X#X X#X
Nossob and TR as less than desirable stayovers - agree. Maybe the new units will make Nossob desirable again. Not sure.
Uranib - O\/ O\/ ^Q^ ^Q^
Page 18 - the giraffe blurred motion with the water, intended or not, wonderful O/\ O/\
LOVE the (dried) flower pics O0
Last, but not least, the suckling wildebeest - too sweet, thank you. 0/0

Again, I have enjoyed your tales both on this Forum and the SansParks Forum, and look forward to your next adventure - GOOD, BAD, UGLY, and "farting cable" moments.... O** O** O** =O: =O:

wow ExFmem thank you for your kind words and encouragement 0/0

right got a lot of rotten times, but like you said, the best stays... happily
and I'm ready to return there lol
"farting cable"... is something in french, maybe only in Switzerland 0*\ =O:

I wanted to have a barking Gecko, I saw some beautiful "on the other side" and gave me envy ..0..

can't remember/don't know who you were on the other side :-? :o0ps:

Departure for a night in Mata Mata (this is the only one night that I found, the only places I can book were at the campsite).
I visit the new hide that I find very good, apart from Wattled Starling there is not much.

before leaving KTC I saw a Verreaux's Eagle Owl

I take possession of the cottage (No. 7) and with amazement I discovered a baby Kalahari Scrub-Robin on the table of the terrace, waiting for mom to come to feed it.
I call a birds "specialist" that told me : it's okay, I thought he was inside, at that moment, the baby jump to the braai where he stayed most of the night. It can't fly. Unable to make a fire in one of the most beautiful braai of the park 0*\
Later I realized that the nest is on the terrace under the thatched roof above the bedroom and that the bird is maybe dropped, the adult continues to go bring food into the nest .
I asked to put this baby on a branch of the dead tree right next to my balcony ... She is there ... mum takes care of it
Luckily I was only there for one night. I wonder if the next client will "braai" the bird ???
