Re: Richprins' Short Business Trips to The Park
Thanks!
I told Pa we wouldn't see much, as it would be dense with grass, but the entire opposite was true!
H1-1 delivered big time, regarding a stream of regulars...and some not so regular...

On this trip we saw everything ourselves, which is great! These ground hornbill were flying around, so your attention is grabbed!

And a little further, around eastern end of Napi Boulders loop, a tiny baby hyena ran across the road!

Mom was restless, and wandered about!

Pa decided to take his camera out at that juncture, sending cutlery and crockery flying about Chubby's interior...not sure why he didn't take it out at the gate. Anyway, he hogged the sighting, so to speak, and I got bored...

Another vehicle eventually arrived from ahead, and told us the next culvert pipe, about 50m on, was also occupied!

One must wonder what effect culvert pipes have had regarding dens for various species over the decades!

Love the tree hornbills - We much more often do find them in trees than on the ground

Nice hornbill sighting and cute hynie!
It's always great to find your own sightings.
