Here are some Cape plants that I need ID help with. These were all seen along the Kommetjie seaside boardwalk in late November 2014.

This is not an indigenous tree , but originated from Brazil . Commonly known as Brazilian pepper tree- Schinus terebinthifolius . Those seeds taste pepper-like , and can be used in the place of black pepper .

Not sure of this one , picture not very clear , but looks somewhat like a pink Cape Honeysuckle - Tecomaria capensis .

 =O: lol ^0^ O/\ -O- 0= :-0 ..0..

It has not many leaflets, only 3, and the Pepper should have 5 to 13.

Coastal habitat is also fine. Distribution matches, too.

Leaflets are widely egg-shaped to elliptic, but the colour and texture are highly variable; they are sharp-tipped with the base narrowly tapering; parallel veins loop at the margins and net-veining is translucent and easy to see; leaf-stems are long (to 30 mm), sometimes red, the colour merging into lower veins; margins are smooth and rolled under. - See more at: http://www.wildcard.co.za/blog.htm?acti ... xKl3S.dpuf
