Impressive bird ! They can be quite handsome with their long eyelash and light eye.

Many years ago they were plenty, then you won't see them every trip. These days they are seen more often

Saw this ground hornbill, near Renosterkoppies in the Kruger National Park.
It was quite an extraordinary sighting as he had caught both a chameleon and mouse.
