And time to chill

We spent the afternoon getting ready for our move to Polentswa the next day and went for a short drive down to Leewdril
We don’t have any photos of the drive, which probably explains what we saw :-?

Nice Gavin, ja the cheetahs seem to run for the hills when you arrive! lol

Interesting heater struggle, and once again pleasant during the day! X#X

Nice closeups. [O]

It was another very chilly morning when we packed up camp at Rooiputs, and were soon on the road destination Polentswa
It is a fair distance so we left as early as possible and headed directly north up the Nossob River

It proved to be an easy drive with the roads having recently been graded, but sightings were few and far between
We did get to see a bit though

First up was this rather cold tawny eagle

And near Melkvlei, the resident wildebeest were hanging around

After a coffee stop at Melvlei we continued on our way
This herd of Rooi Hartebeest were really special

Otherwise we saw very little else until we got to Polentswa at about 3pm
We decided to have a quick look at the waterhole and spotted this warthog having a drink

We went to camp and set up out tent in campsite no 1

And chilled for the rest of the day
