That chaos at lion sightings has actually totally put me off the South.

Ja, the chaos can be off-putting but we still love the area.

The next morning we left Lower Sabie for Satara. We headed towards Skukuza and then went up the H1-2. We decided to take the Maroela Loop and found a LIT with its kill. However, it was far away so couldn't get great pics.

Just after Tshokwane, we came across a very old or sick leopard. The colouring looks like a cheetah but it was definitely a leopard as we had got a clearer view of it before it lay down flat.

A Little Bee-eater.

Closer to Satara, we found this ellie with some relatively nice-sized tusks.

Green pigeons are one of my favourites!
