I have all these differences in my book... but never saw a Mole snake "moving" like a Cape Cobra :-?
and the differences are not easy at all.
After J. Marais, Cape Cobra could be very dark

Found this little baby snake in our lounge this evening. I think it is a Herald snake.

We captured in a bottle and have taken and released in the veld near us.

Had a rinkhals in the house once before.

Must say, in all fairness, they do tend to
send alarm signals in order to warn any
threat(humans) of their presence. Seems
only when they are totally exposed too any
threat.

Okie, I'm not so sure about harmless and only
just a red lipped herald. This could very well
be a cobra of sorts!!
