Mangrove Kingfisher Halcyon senegaloides

It closely resembles the Woodland Kingfisher but is distinguished by the all red bill, the black eye band does not extend behind the eye, the greyish head and chest and the red legs.Occurs in the Eastern Cape during the summer breeding season and in winter moves to KwaZulu-Natal and Mozambique where it occurs in the mangrove swamps.
