i think the bright green trees are the pod mahogany trees

I think that tree is either the Pod Mahogany or Bastard Marula...

i think it is called a false marula not a bastard...........

Of course! "Baster" in Afrikaans!

One can see the pod mahoganies quite clearly on the left-hand ridge as you enter the loop from the Southern end!
