At 6 pm we left for another short drive to 13th borehole. The cattle egret was next to unit 4 now
we saw an ostrich taking a dust bath
and our last sighting for today was a bateleur

While I was brushing my teeth, my SO appeared and told me that I have to take a look. In his hand he had our rhinose which was deformed at the tip. I asked him why he took it off the car and he said, he did not. Apparently, the hyenas returned during the night and tore it off. I cannot believe that we slept right above it and did not hear anything.
We had planned to go to 14th borehole again on our morning drive but we met the lady from the lion project who told us about a dying willie at Dalkeith and a dead one 20 kms before Mata Mata. Thus, we moved up further North.
At Dalkeith we saw the 26 giraffes again.
Two of them were testing their strength

The willie at Dalkeith was still alive and we moved on to the one that was already dead. There was a traffic jam
