leachy and I left after school on Friday...cruising to Kruger Gate!

I was not overly excited about entering there on a Friday afternoon...but for some strange reason it was quiet...even the road to Skuks!

Saw elephant twice, thrice if you include one in the river at the gate! And that's it! :-0

We headed to the lapa to meet Lodric and get the keys and what not, and he informed us that we could use the facility that night too! O\/

We helped him try and jump-start his game drive vehicle...unsuccessfully, and I got my first injury...multiple ant bites while kneeling under the truck to connect the cables... O**

Anyway, the bush-telegraph started and all eventually pitched for rehearsal that night..starting with the Clan...who arrived sharpish as BC was informed we could watch the Sharks rugby too! =O:

Some shots of the lapa kitchen/living room annex...these donors don't mess around! O-/

One of those fridges that makes ice! O/\ O/\ O/\ X#X

And finally!!!!!!

The lapa itself:

All very nice outside, but closer inspection revealed various awkward steps.....

And a sliding door...my nemeses! :-( But my problem... O**

The rhino figure is actually a sticker on the sliding door...quite a clever pic, IMO! :-0

Battling for signal in Satara and getting “exceeded login attempts or some @#%#”, but eventually got the forum virtual police to duck O/

Great meet guys O\/ O\/

Leachy and RP did a wonderful job organizing the fancy venue ^Q^ ^Q^ I think we owe leachy a case of black label X#X

I’m still in KNP for until Sunday, so will post my version on Monday next week.

Cool meeting some new people O\/ O\/

Just one thing

I believe that some only went to their unit at around 3am and Skukuza staff are still looking for guys in green shirts O** O**

I had a serious case of flu yesterday =O: =O:

Have a few pics, but Hawkeyes was in control and there more pics of the gang of rats then of others, so I won’t post unless Gump and Sprocky agree. The teenagers are too old to be classed as rats.

RP sent me on a mission this morning that resulted in an escape from foreign territory as there was an Ace Ventura in a car watching me take pics  O-/ but it could have interesting results

Lion sleeping outside camp, so going on patrol shortly ;-)
