You can use the inverter with the car engine off but it may drain your battery. I only use it with the engine on. When driving in Kruger I have the inverter continually connected and do a 'device shuffle' to keep cameras/laptop/phone always charged. I find this approach works well. I did have to buy a new laptop battery a while back as the old one no longer retained charge for long.

I'm scheming and will hopefully get back to SA this November/December. Fingers crossed!

The only thing wrong with Tsendze is that there is a fence..There should be at least one UNFENCED camp for us Wilderness Lovers to enjoy ala Botswana etc..LOVE TSENDZE to bits ...Campsite 26
