the wildebeests came for a drink





some were having an argument



while others went to the spa

all were watched by the kudus

the afternoon drive took us to Lijersdraai again

we saw a juvenile black-chested snake eagle



and a bateleur at Kannaguass

and a black-shouldered kite


who decided to fly away as well

[Tina]

the roads were really corrugated

[Tina]

we did not see much more and it was very early when we approached Grootkolk again but as we did not have much petrol left, we returned to camp. This turned out to be our lucky day as the brothers approached the waterhole

while one brother disappeared over the ridge, the other one controlled his territory

[Tina]

now the residents of no. 3 and 4 arrived but they noticed the lion and did not get out of their car



what an exciting evening!
