Samangos are just as naughty as their cousins, IMO! (0!)

Tembe sand forest and woodland is part of Maputaland Coastal plain, an area of distinct geological history. Aeolian distributed sands from the Tertiary and Quaternary period dominate most parts of the MCP. Quaternary sediments are of marine origin – mainly grey regic to reddish redistributed sand dunes. Recent sands are whitish, whereas older sands are reddish to brownish with higher clay content.

There should be Tongoland red squirrels, but I have never seen one, not even spoor. You won't spot them easily in the thick Tembe vegetation, sometimes they are around in the research camp/facilities at the main gate, better place to see them is St Lucia ;-) ;-)

Ja, but only seen crossing the roads and too quick for a [O]

Animals in the cutie range there are Bushbabies and Genets 0'
