Re: 1st time for KTP
So, I have booked for April next year, 2 nights Nossob, 2 nights Mata Mata and 2 night Twee Rivieren (hoping to change these as soon as something becomes available).
This was what was available so will hopefully be changing and possibly add an extra night or 2.

Re: 1st time for KTP
You must try to get a couple of days at Urikaruus. Getting two accommodations is even more difficult than one, but it is worth it. The only place that I really like in KTP
Nossob: If you want the new bungalows only book if you can get one of the two closest to the Water hole (two bed rooms). In any case I am not sure that they are worth the price.
Mata Mata: The two bedrooms riverside cottages are nice!
Leave out Kalahari Tented Camp!
BTW are you camping? Because then all my advice is not valid

Re: 1st time for KTP
I hate it when they begin their sentences with "so"...

Re: 1st time for KTP
So , err...... how should it start
I quite often start sentences like that
So , whats wrong with it

Re: 1st time for KTP
When exactly are you going, Robert?
There is an accommodation group for the KTP on Facebook. Camping options are often offered, so it might be worth it becoming a member of that group.
How do you like the thought of an unfenced camp like Polentswa or Rooiputs?
I find Twee horrible and only do it on the way in or out if I have to... The camping ground is wide open and every single car passes by.
Mata and Nossob are the better options indeed.
And if you shouldn't go camping, I don't agree with Lis: I'd rather stay at Kalahari Tented Camp than in one of the main camps.

Re: 1st time for KTP
Thanks Mel, will become a member of KTP group.
Dates are from 20th April. I have a mixed bag of camping + units at moment. Trying to go all units so will see what comes up.
Twee Rivieren was all that was available and it is camping at this point, but am confident I will change it.
I have an RF4Z in Mata Mata at moment on the only night the Kalahari tented camp is available, should I change?
