Going on with day 1....

As we got of the S28 a friendly tourist told us that about 3 km's from Lower Sabie it's chaos in the road as there is a Leopard with a kill in a tree next to the road -O- , when we got there it WAS chaos but we could see the tree and an Indian gent told us there was a Leopard with a Springbok  kill in the tree. While everyone was looking for the Leopard in the tree it decided to get out of there and we only saw it's body and tail as it walked into the bush O/\ ...unfortunately no photo :-(

We stopped at Lower Sabie and had something to eat before we left for Skukuza

Just past Sunset dam we saw these Ellies

Then a troop of Baboons and this youngster hitching a ride :-)

Kudu trying to hide

Vulture checking things out

At Nkhulu this Openbill

And then Tatarukas chicken(but we know it as a Batteleur) =O: =O: ....Tataruka,Ivan and Bookworm was driving behind us when another Batteleur not this one landed in front of them and she then said "look what is a chicken doing in Kruger''...off-course we all thought it was very funny =O: =O:

This one flew over our car and landed in the road to eat a snake that was killed in the road

More soon....Hopefully it's not too boring RP

End of day 1...

We arrived at Skukuza at 11:20 and looked for a camp site near the safari tents.........not easy and it was flippen hot (38)....my wife then decides we will pitch the tents near the ablution, just one problem there is NO trees so NO shade 0*\ 0*\ and you need a jackhammer to get the tent pegs in the ground 0*\ 0*\

After that Bookworm and I hit the road at 15:30 and just crussed around

Steenbokkies
