plus lots of amazing birdies - Love here especially the sunbirds, the barn owl and osprey

10 October Part1/2



We are not sure what was happening here but these ellies were standing still and grouped around a baby.



Joan got this photo.

Their horns actually locked together.

We think it is two young males fighting and the alpha male comes running in to break it up.



And yet another Coqui Francolin. Three different ones in one trip.



Please forgive me for this but it was quite funny to watch. Please delete if deemed necessary.

This poor guy was quite willing and ready but for some reason unable.

Great sightings. Lots of lion and a leopard! And all the other stuff in between....for us this would have been great sightings for Pilanesberg but as you said, you have been luckier before.

That is a white rhino after all, stf!

Just unusual because its head is lifted!

Lovely selection again, even the flower shot.

Poor giraffe - who wants to operate while being photographed?

I got the annual shot wrong; I thought that it was taken at Mankwe

I am sure that it's the same francolin following you

You must be right about the little ellie as by the time we had driven to where they were they were on the move again.

Look closely at this pellet. Doesn't it look like the head of a miniature warthog????? Look at the two tusks on the left.

Can anyone identify what it was?
