Amazing to think that you can be flooded in the desert!!

Glad you could sort out the problem without too much hassle.
Awesome pics of the snake!!

What snake is it?
I also like the secretary bird!

It's quite easy if you camp in the right place

, Snake was a puffy, was a great sighting to have seen

Intriguing stuff, Peter, and what a kill again!
Ja, I know the feeling, also flooded out once in exactly the same way at Etosha!
Hopefully the geysers were eventually sorted...
Thanks RP, the geyser not sure as the last two groups before us had the same problem. no 2 and 5 geysers where OOO. Was not too bad seen worse at Nossob where a couple in a hiking tent nearly flouted away, sleeping bags and clothes all wet

. Just glad it was not that cold as it can get in winter there.

One thing you learn as a camper is to do maintenance when it starts raining
Lovely pictures of the snake having breakfast
Thanks Alf, The joys of camping

holding onto pegs and poles 02h00 in the mourning, just enjoying every one running around at night , swearing and screaming for help when you don't have a problem
Thanks Pumba , was something different
