that night no drama
The next morning we packed and left for Garagab
1st up a Secretary Bird
Lanner falcon drinking from a puddle
just after Kwang we found or first of a special sighting
from there till Union End it was quite
SG at Union end , this time without Mushi
Some grumpy person standing at Union End looking for a lift

Amazing to think that you can be flooded in the desert!!

Glad you could sort out the problem without too much hassle.
Awesome pics of the snake!!

What snake is it?
I also like the secretary bird!

Ja, I know the feeling, also flooded out once in exactly the same way at Etosha!
Hopefully the geysers were eventually sorted...

One thing you learn as a camper is to do maintenance when it starts raining

It's quite easy if you camp in the right place

, Snake was a puffy, was a great sighting to have seen

Thanks RP, the geyser not sure as the last two groups before us had the same problem. no 2 and 5 geysers where OOO. Was not too bad seen worse at Nossob where a couple in a hiking tent nearly flouted away, sleeping bags and clothes all wet

. Just glad it was not that cold as it can get in winter there.

holding onto pegs and poles 02h00 in the mourning, just enjoying every one running around at night , swearing and screaming for help when you don't have a problem
