But there is no way I am going to stand outside for the best part of 3 hours in winter

You can do it in the kitchen in a pot of ceramics. It's great

Probably also in the same pot

That's why i have a 5kg gas bottle and a potjie cooker attachment. When it's winter time i can still make potjie inside without getting cold
