Sanparks did not attend the stakeholders' meeting at Groenkloof in 2012! So how does that gel with the statement that stakeholders' concerns have been addressed? $0*\$

So the rezoning plan was approved subject to Sanparks sorting out a number of issues as listed by the Minister. This was back in 2012. Can we get clarity from anywhere if Sanparks have provided the details as requested. If they haven't then they certainly don't have any go ahead as stated by SP.

Note that this documentation relates to the SP zonation plan approval only...NOT the approval for the Malelane Hotel that still has to be granted after the Scoping and EIA processes have been completed.

The EIA company have only now been paid and authorised to complete the final scoping report.

So it is a lie to say that "“This hotel development is going to happen and we are not going to go back. All the necessary applications have been done and funds have been raised. The construction will begin shortly,” Phaahla

The minister made it very clear that the construction of the hotel rests on the outcome of the EIA!

Indeed, but does promote and enhance the commercialization process of
which the hotels and other crazy ideas are part and parcel of.

Understood, and that is why zonation was started, to eliminate pesky objections to future developments...hotels all along Kruger's boundary are coming, from the Nsikazi area to Phalaborwa to Orpen to Shangoni to Punda etc..
