Do you have a photo of the entire plant of no 3, leaves etc?
Wild Lucerne (Monechma divaricatum) looks like this, but I would need to see the shrub
Monechma genistifolium also a good match maybe
Monechma distichotrichum ?

African horned cucumber - Cucumis metuliferus ? .
You often see the vines in trees in Kruger .
