There is generally a small gap between the thatch and the outside wall...they only need a small gap!

They ought to cover it with the kind of fine metal wire like this one:

Maybe with smaller holes.

Nr 72 , also a bit of a stench but not that much as 27
Also nr 72 , the mosquito mesh in the kitchen falls out of the wall if you try to open / close
IMHO it's time to call in the experts.. I found these guys now on google, based in JHB

Sanparks has made their own guidelines, which sound rather effective, then why don't they just follow them instead of asking for help
