And the blackbirds have had their first breed already up and flying by the start of May.
One of the youngsters spent almost a whole afternoon with me - obviously feeling quite
comfortable in my presence.
When mum came, it demanded to be fed and looked rather puzzled when mum didn't oblige.

I still have not seen a blue tit around

Must go for a walk in the forest ( Walk is the bad word

Lucky you regarding the redstart! Would love to have them closer by.
Maybe that would increase my chance of a really good photo. And even of a male.
But those birds were never taught how to sit still.
