As usual we left at the crack of dawn the next day on a long trip to our next camp!
The strange little natural waterholes one finds:
And away from the pan it looks like normal open bush in places!

Eventually there is only one road that follows the southern shore of the Big Pan, for about 1000km...it is breathtakingly large:
And then the most amazing thing, a causeway out to the horizon into the pan itself....

Brilliant Park Etosha ..When I was a little boy we used to camp around the now famous Waterhole at Okakeujo ..stuff used to walk next to the tents to drink !!

Sadly like many African Parks infrastructure and staff attitudes has fallen and Prices have increased 100 x
