Mankwe
As full as ever at the most dry time of year!
You do not need to go anywhere other than Mankwe lair to tick off an impressive count of birds and game

Regular traffic of Zebra and Willies coming over from Mankwe drive on the right to drink, and often ostriches, springbokkies and giraffes on the left from hippo loop

The pair of fish eagles are occupying their primary fishing spot at the 'side' dam off to the left of the lair, and only those with big lenses can reach them

In the afternoon, most of the fishing action happens directly in front of the hide at close quarters, so a medium range lens will do the trick
The ducklings directly below the hide
Gandalf the Grey still stalks the clear waters near the dead tree
I just missed the pied kingy! Perhaps if I didn't have one hand on my beer I would have been more swift
I only got to visit Mankwe Lair once on my short Pilansberg visit, but it remains the animal hotspot. A better photography spot than Lake Panic in my book
