Haven't seen Sable since I was a child. Became a bit an issue for me. Every Kruger trip was going to be the one.
On the plane over to SA, son says to me, that he can feel it, this will be the trip.

Ended up having 2 (3) Sable sightings.
First one was a single bull at the dam between the H7 and Talamati.

And saw these three twice.
On our last full day in Kruger, we decided to do the loop from Skukuza to Tschokwane, down to Lower Sabie and back to Skukuza. Saw the 3 Sable in the early am heading up to Tschokwane. We sat with them for over an hour before they disappeared into the bush
Then for the evening drive, decided to the Skukuza / Lower Sabie road. There was a lion sighting not far from Sk and it was absolute mayhem. @#$
I kind of lost it, and decided to leave the morons to it, and go back towards Tshokwane as it would probably be a lot quieter. And the Sable had come back to the same spot as earlier in the day

Thanks. Son and I spent every evening trying to get some decent sunset photos

Rare antelope photos not so great. Roan were quite deep in dense Mopani so photography difficult.
And got the wrong focal point with the Tsessebe 0*\
