A Short, unexpected KNP visit
Re: A Short, unexpected KNP visit
Great shots BL, Looking at your settings ,if I had to go as high as you went with the ISO I would be looking at spots.

Re: A Short, unexpected KNP visit
Thanks PRWIN, I have a habit of picking up the camera and taking a shot before I've checked the settings (something I need to change), sometimes they come out OK so I use them. The sensor on the D5100 is pretty good with high ISO but the shots do get grainy at over 1600.PRWIN wrote:Great shots BL, Looking at your settings ,if I had to go as high as you went with the ISO I would be looking at spots.
Hunting cannot be considered a sport as all contestants in a sport should know they are playing the game!

The animals in Pretoriuskop area have such a tranquillity about them . . . . maybe because they live in such a tranquil environment

Unique pics!
Doing some research...never seen those cockroaches, but name seems fine?
Regarding the raptor...looks like a photoshopped pigeon, but rare I think! Some sort of harrier!
BT...you spend too much time watching TV!

Thanks mposthumus! Maybe they look tranquil because it's easier to hide from predators in thick bush.mposthumus wrote:The animals in Pretoriuskop area have such a tranquillity about them . . . . maybe because they live in such a tranquil environment
