Hmmmm.....
not sure whether the second pic with all the buffalo was taken at the Punda birdhide
The Punda birdhide is situated right next to the camp-fence , and when you look at it , there is no hill right behind the waterhole as in this pic .
The first pic of the ellies etc shows very clearly
The second pic with the buffalo rather looks like Witsand , situated on the Mahonie loop but not even quite sure of that

I think that it a "zoom in" question; it makes the hill looks closer than it is in reality
