Hello, tr!

may want to be spoilt myself a bit as a rapidly ageing geriatric.

Nice to have a fellow hypochondriac on the forums! ;-)

My biggest piece of advice would be to change your accommodation to only 4 camps or so if you can...part of Kruger is relaxing and not worrying about packing the whole time. The good news is that you have an excellent chance of picking up changes by just monitoring availability on the SP website, and once you have entered Kruger, just keep asking at reception. It is out of school holidays, so that makes things easier.

I think you mean the drive from Skukuza to Letaba is a long one? That is true, but not the end of the world...

How are you getting to Kuger?

I would suggest trying as follows:

24/08 - 26/08 (2) – SKUKUZA BD3 (BUNGALOW)
26/08 - 27/08 (1) - LETABA REST CAMP CTT2 (SAFARI TENT)
27/08 - 29/08 (2) - TSENDZE RUSTIC (OWN TENT)
29/08 - 31/08 (2) - OLIFANTS REST BG2 (BUNGALOW)
31/08 - 04/09 (4) – SATARA BG2 (BUNGALOW)
04/09 - 06/09 (2) - LOWER SABIE EH2 (HUT):

From Satara you can visit the Tamboti area... -O-

Obviously all camps can charge phones, except Tsendze! :-?

Hope this helps...it is nice that you are going North ASAP...also an excellent time of year, as game will hopefully concentrate along water points! \O

Hi TR 0/* Welcome to this forum . Advice on this forum is good and free , and sometimes even given unasked O**
Hope you will continue to participate , tell us about that very busy trip that you've booked , etc .

Just a little word of warning ( free , un-asked advice ) about answering personal invasive questions from a certain member , who may grill you about inane things such as Marmite , showering , and rugby teams 0*\

Just another question regarding accomodation changes is that it is OK to make changes even inside the Park. -O-
