At the end of our trip report, we're looking back on a short but great trip. We didn't get lions or leopards, but saw more than enough to make it worthwhile.

Our next trip report will come after our Augrabies/Kgalagadi trip in January 2015. THE best place on earth - the Northern Cape and the Kalahari, followed by 5 nights in Mtunzini on the KZN North Coast. Hoping for those Palmnut Vultures. Thanks for reading and enjoying.

We wish it was a Lesser Spotted Eagle, Mel! Pretty sure it's a Wahlberg's.

There is no place like Kgalagadi, Nan. Forever cured me of my KNP addiction. Most people want to move to Phalaborwa, Hoedspruit or Nelspruit. Us? Anything to the west of Kuruman will do.

You can say that again - sorry we will miss you, we in KTP/Augrabies in October 2014. Maybe we can arrange a meet in Gauties

We are in Mtunzinin and KZN North Coast in April - just a month away for the Palmnut and Mangrove Kingfisher and Green Barbet and, and....
