Vis 3/5, until the lioness emerged to chase the cheetahs. It was full speed from the lioness - she would have taken one if she had gotten close enough

Between Olifants and Satara close to Nyamarhi there were a few cars parked off. We asked what was going on as we could not see anything

A leopard had killed an impala and was eating in the shade of a tree, very difficult to see, and her cub was hiding behind some bushes.





It was getting a little too busy for the the young leopard so she moved away behing some rocks while mother ate to her fill

We moved on as you can only take so many photos of lions . Near Nyamrhi we found the leopard and cub again. Although I stopped a distance from them they were not hanging around but we got two photos of the Mom

Two males who we had not seen till then appear from what turned out to be another carcass

The highlight of this road is the Olifants High-level bridge, arguably the biggest in the park?

One can get out and views are spectacular!
